The city of Walnut Creek is celebrating its centennial this year, and Grace Cooperative Preschool has been a part of the year-long festivities (our Earth Day celebration was featured in their events calendar). On Saturday, October 18 from 11 am – 4 pm, there will be a free, fun, family-friendly “party of the century” held at Shadelands Ranch Museum. The festival includes children’s activities, interactive community service booths, art and craft vendors, live music and dancing, assorted food trucks, and a pumpkin patch. The public is encouraged to come join the party with family and friends, and help Walnut Creek celebrate it’s centennial – it only happens once in a 100 years!
