It’s about that time again … time to head back to Grace Preschool, of course! We are so excited to see our returning students and families, and to welcome many new families this year. We are also thrilled to be opening a fourth class at Grace … one just for two year olds! Hopefully everyone has received a copy of the school calendar, but as a reminder, we have some very important upcoming events.
Parent orientation will be held September 3rd from 6-9 p.m. We love your children, but please leave them at home for this event! All new and returning families are strongly encouraged to attend.
Classroom orientations are held the same week. The MWF parent/child orientation is September 3rd from 9-10:30 a.m., while the M-Th orientation is from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. On September 4th, the T/Th (threes class) has orientation from 9-10:30 a.m., while the T/Th (twos) will meet from 10:45 a.m. to noon. These are great opportunities to walk with your child(ren) through a typical day at Grace Preschool, before the school year actually begins.
The first days of school are September 8th (MWF/M-Th classes) and September 9th (T/Th classes).
Grace Preschool will also be marching in the Walnut Festival Twilight Parade held in downtown Walnut Creek on September 13th. And, of course, no September would be complete without our annual Welcome Back Picnic, held September 21st from 4-7 p.m. at Rudgear Park. We hope to see you there!
